nowadays the way many people interact woyh each other has changed because of technology.
in which ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make?
has this become a positive or negative development?

People are coming to realize the increasing significant role technology plays in their life, given the fact that it has already revolutionized the interaction between human beings. The essay will look on both good and bad ways in which technology has affected such interaction.

There is no denying in the vast convenience brought by technology. Mobile phones, for instance, enable two individuals to communicate at anytime of the day regardless of the distance between them. Such long-distance conversation has been made even easier with the advent of the internet. By mere a software like Skype, people from different nations can have a video call, which allows them to see each other, let along hear the voice from the other side. The emergence of new social network sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, has also expanded the circle where people meet and socialize. Now it is possible that strangers from diverse parts of the world discover the identical hobbies shared among them and be friends.

In spite of the positive impact technology has on the relationships people make, it cannot be overlooked that there do exist some drawbacks along with the development. A good example would be the mobile phone mentioned previously. They have altered daily communications to such a great extent that nearly every phone owner finds it impossible to live without his/her mobile devices. It appears that people prefer to make a call or just send a text message rather than have a face-to-face conversation, even with their loved ones. There is a concern, therefore, that if this trend continues to grow, the connection between human beings will weaken as time goes by.

By way of conclusion, the relationships people make are largely affected by technology, which not only has a bright side but a dark side. On my perspective, this is relatively positive development, considering its merits outweigh demerits.

Hi Demoke,

Please post your essay with the question, otherwise its hard to judge the task response where students often go wrong.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I've noted that and added the question on the post.
