The figures compare different post- graduate degrees held by Australian people in two age groups
As can be seen from the charts, Social sciences and Art had the largest percentage of Australians and the second biggest proportion among these fields to study is administration in both two age groups.
It is worth noting that at the age of 25 to 34, the percentage of Australian people studying science, maths and computers to gain a post –graduate degree accounted for over a fifth. However, just over 10.11% of 55-69-year-old people in Australia chose these fields for their qualification. Furthermore, people at this age group made nearly twice percentage of diplomas in engineering than the other age group
Out of the total, Veterinary and agriculture in both two age groups were equal nearly with 2.1% and 2% respectively. On the other hand, there was a remarkable increase in medicine and agriculture from 25 to 65 years old. Law is considered as the smallest percentage with 5.53% in age group 25 to 34 and 3.34% in other age group.
