A grammar question: financially or economically

I wrote a sentence like below in my real test a few days ago.

people can find better jobs in big cities and therefore, their whole family can benefit from it economically.

I know that "financially" would be a good option to replace the "economically".
My question is : Does "economically" also work here?

Thanks!

Good question! I think "financial" is used in case the of benefits and costs to a company, firm, organization or a family. While the "economic" is used in case of the benefits and costs to the whole economy of a country or of the world. Hope this helps! Cheers!

Hi Allen,

I think 'financially' suits better than 'economically ',

In fact, 'economically' may not be appropriate at this place,

Don't worry too much....just relax..in 9 days...
