Good Morning!!!
I left home at around 9.20AM in the morning. First, I thought that there will not be much traffic but as and when I reached Perish Street, I was shocked to see huge pile-up of cars and bikes. A thought came in my mind that I should take my ride to office from another road but then I realized that even the alternate way would be jammed.
I chose to drive on the road which I planned earlier. After few meters, I was horrored by watching the cars waiting for other side to clean the traffic but even that was not preventing from the traffic to settle down. I was sure that it will be a long day for me to drive to office. Then I saw a traffic cop was standing in the middle of the road junction who was trying to clear the traffic but even was not succeeded in it. I heard couple of comments from people that is he trying to decrease traffic or the intention is to increase the road load.
After clearing the traffic in 30 minutes, I came to a point where 100 meters of road patch was completely filled with water and the water level has almost reached the silencer level of the bike. I didn't have any other option that riding my bike from that patch. I decided to go slow and on the first gear since if I use second gear then my bike will get turned off because there was a possibility that water will enter my bike's silencer which would cause the engine to shut. I was scared if the engine gets water then it would be really hard for me to start my bike.
I decided to ride my bike on first gear with moderate accelerate to avoid water entering into silencer and finally I came out of the pond safely. I knew that there will not be much traffic on the road because all the traffic was at Perish Street. It took only 10 minutes for me to reach to the office after clearing the traffic.
It was one of the fantastic experiences I ever had on my way to office since I really wasn't sure on how much time I would require to reach to the office but finally I managed to conquer the task finely.
