please point out my mistakes and suggest how i can improve it.
You need to drop an evening course you are taking.
Write a letter to the director of the course. In your letter
state what the course is
explain why you need to drop it
request a refund
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ____________________,
Dear Mr. Thomson,
I am writing to inform you that I will be unable to attend and should drop my evening course due to some personal circumstances. Please allow me to explain.
The course I am referring is Interior Design which runs during Monday and Thursday evenings, and our class coordinator is Mr. Harry Williams. Actually the reason behind my decision to drop the course is my current job new specification. My company is sending me abroad for three months training course to extend my knowledge in Technical Field. Since I have been waiting for this opportunity for more than a year, I ought to accept this offer to fortify my career.
I would be grateful if you refund my course fee as soon as possible. The student’s contract policy clearly mentions that under certain circumstances course fess is refundable. I believe my condition also falls on the same category.
Looking forward to hearing from you, and thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Aditi Khatiwada
