Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.
Write a letter to your friends. In your letter
• Thank them for the photos and for the holiday
• Explain why you didn’t write earlier
• Invite them to come and stay with you

Dear Ali and John

Hope you are enjoying good health and doing well in your life. It was very nice to see you in your country and I enjoyed a lot in your company.

I have just received a packet of our snaps which we took during our visit to some watchable places in your homeland. I must thank you for sharing the pictures and arraigning such a memorable holiday.

I could not write to you earlier because I have been very sick. Upon my arrival I was caught by fever along with some sort of allergy. I guess all this was caused by sudden change in environment and food items but, now I am well.

It gives us pleasure to be with each other that is why I feel that we should periodically arrange such get-togethers. If you could spare some time in the coming summer, I will welcome both of you to join me here in Punjab to see the rich culture of my area.
