Many people significantly change their careers during their working years.
What do you are the reasons for this?
Do you think it has a positive or negative effect for the society?



In today’s competitive world, the trend of changing careers is ever increasing. The reasons for this are people’s willingness to fortify skills and experience in different sectors and due to higher salary expectations. It is agreed that this movements bring positive effects to the societies. This will be proven by looking at how changing career creates versatile professionals and encourage younger generation towards learning process.

Firstly, an individual that changes careers obtain more skills and knowledge regarding different fields. For example, if an IT person changes his career to accounting sector, then his abilities will be extended to accounting field. In addition, the society gets citizen that is able to manage any of these professions, and this helps society during shortages of workers. It is therefore clear that changing jobs is a positive development.

Secondly, this trend acts as a precursor to promotes the student's learning process. For instance, when a student learns that to exist in a work place they required multiple talents then they work hard to correlate their understanding with upcoming opportunities. As a result their knowledge regarding different subjects, such as science, social, math, computer and others become equally fortified. Thus, altering careers is considered as a positive change.

To conclude, people change jobs to increase their abilities and to acquire higher salaries. This has benefited societies by promoting youths towards educational sector and by creating adaptable workers. It is therefore recommended that people choose profession according to their willingness and satisfactions, rather than depending on other factors, like money and power.
