Competition Good or Bad for Children??

Some believe that competition is good for children, while others say it is bad. Discuss both the views.
Competition is a trend that has existed in the society since the dawn of time. Even children are inclined towards this movement either in school or outside it. Many people believe that competitions are beneficial for children’s overall development. Others, however, disagree. This essay will analyse both sides of these view before reaching a concrete conclusion.
On the one hand, it is often argued that competition provides more courage and confidence within kids. For example, children that compete in schools are more determined towards achieving goals. They work hard and constantly to win the titles, and this helps them to be more focused and increases their confidence level. As a result they become more compatible person than the kids who avoid competitions. From this it is quite evident that competition brings several merits to the children’s overall improvement.
On the other hand, sceptics oppose and believe that competition creates physical as well as mental stress for the youngster. For instance, the passion of achieving the award make children devote their whole day and night on practise, as a result they become physically weak. In addition, if unfortunately they lose the game then they will psychologically disturb. Some even commit suicide after losing the competition fairing about their fame and name. Therefore, it is clear why some people think competitions are bad for children.

However, for some it acts as a precursor for their mental and physical imbalance.
