Write a letter to your local council regarding a problem.
Write who you are?
What is the problem?
What would you like council to do?
Please check my work and give me feedback.
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Aditi, and I am one of the local residents from Campsie area. I am writing to inform you regarding the poor condition of access ramp at our local Library. Please allow me to explain.
I am physically disabled and need wheelchair to move around. For the last fifteen days, I am unable to enter library due to damaged ramp, as well as the parents with younger kids are facing this problem too. In addition, the side railing of the ramp is broken but the council has neglected it and has not put any danger sign nearby. This has caused problem to the local people including me.
I would like you to send some construction workers and fix this issue as soon as possible. Also, if it is possible for you to make temporary ramp so that we can use the library services and refresh ourselves. I hope this matter will be given more priority and solved soon.
I look forward to swift action regarding this issue
Yours faithfully,
Aditi Khatiwada
