Hello,

I have my ielts exam on November 30. I am confused about what to use for ielts writing, pen or pencil?. Can someone please answer what is more RECOMMENDED?. A friend of mine suggested not to use pencil as it creates immature impression.

Don't worry about that , they will suggest and provide you the instructions .

Got the information that pencil is somewhat mandatory for writing as it gets provided from center itself.

I've never heard of either being an issue.
