WT2- BANNING MOBILE PHONE.DISCUSS AND OPINION.

Topic: Some people believe that mobile phones should be banned in the public, especially on public transports, in restaurants and cinema. Other think that mobile phones should be allowed to be used anywhere. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
It is true that mobile devices have greatly influence people’s lives. While some people argue that these gadgets can be used anywhere we want to, I believe that these gadgets must be banned in public places such as in restaurants, cinemas and in public transports.
On one hand, the freedom of using mobile phones anywhere has some negative impact. Firstly, it is the main factor of the poor social interaction we are facing today. Instead of focusing and giving full attention to a certain thing or person, you are being distracted as you keep on checking your handset. Secondly, mobile phones are highly vulnerable for snatching. If you use it in public places, you are provoking the criminals to take it away from you. The worst thing that may happen is you can lose your life by saving your mobile phone from being snatched. This scenario is very rampant in my home country, Philippines.
Prohibiting the use of mobile headsets in public such as in public transports, in restaurants and cinema may lead to a quality social interaction. If the time use in checking your mobile phone is being directed to a more beneficial way such as talking to your family or friend, you can build a better relationship. In this way, you can open up more and share the life happenings you are facing.
In conclusion, I believe that banning the use of mobile phones can have a positive impact such as initiating a quality social interaction and may even keep you away from possible life threatening situations.
