Hi English Teacher!

It's my 7th one... I always failed 0.5 in Speaking or Writing! The recent test was on 18th Nov 2014 with result:
L:9
R:8
W:7
S:7.5

They will likely not be the same for all timezones, although perhaps some locations might be.

I'm taking the exam at the uni of Sydney. If you want we can have lunch together after writing, reading and listening.

Based on my experienced and gain some interesting knowledge from band 9 scorer here are few tips for reading:-

1) practices make perfect...you must try to answer
few set of questions within the given time b4 the exam
"we have to deal with time constraint" then learn to
skim and scan the passage

2) there are 3 passages normally 1st passage the easiest one
and last might be difficult. So you may target to finish yr 1st passage
within 15 mins...2nd 20 mins and 3rd 25 min.. I guess

3) Look at one or two questions of the passage before you start to read
this will help you to get the keyword

4) Answers are come in chronological order as presented in each passage
ONCE you move to next question read from the last sentence
you have read that answered previous question.
If there are more questions after the last paragraph then start
to read the passage again from the beginning

5) develop your abilities to paraphrase the original text, skim and scan for details and identify the main idea and keywords of passage
