Music and its impact on Mankind
It is difficult to define the word “Music”. However when you ask people their opinion it varies. Well, I can clearly say that music according to me is a phenomenon that has an impact on man’s behavior. I am fond of music therefore; I feel music is a part of my life. Wherever I go, I love being surrounded by music all the time.
Music can be experienced in many ways. Some believe that music deals only with singing but this concept in my eyes is very wrong. There are a lot of hymns and melodies that have a nostalgic impact. Even studies have proved that music has a positive effect on a person’s behavior. One of this includes Beethoven’s symphony, which although popular in the 18th century is still played all around the world. Lot of artists who have left this world including Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Amy Winehouse are remembered by their music every day.
Like in all other fields, Music has also transformed into an industry. The advancement that we see in our daily lives is mind-blowing. Music has also changed people’s life. One of the recently known artist with the name “Passenger “ recently described in an interview that before his fame he was singing in the streets to pay his daily wages. In addition, the reality shows including the “X factor“, The Voice” has opened the doors of many hidden talents including James Arthur, Kelly Clarkson& One direction.
Like in each industry where the opinion varies, there exists a diverse opinion among the artist. The artist of the 60s and the 70s feel that today’s music has become more business oriented and focus more on beats rather than music .This includes incorporating a song in various versions including acoustic fast track etc .They believe that companies release albums only if they feel there is a huge profit awaiting.
Another theme that often comes into the question is whether traditional music should be mixed with international music .To this I have only one thing to say as long as you enjoy it let it be .After all music is just an illusion that last for few moments.
