The chart gives information about the average hours worked per day by married men and women in paid employment. The overall trends from the chart is that married woman worked more than married men in all ages but in term of paid work the married men more available.
According to chart, the working wives from 24-44 age almost equals as many as the number of wives from 45-64 age in total. In details clearly appear the old ages wives slightly focused on paid work then young wives.
Looking at the chart, the vast majority of married man concentrate on paid work with a little attention on unpaid work, however this attention is slightly increased in old husbands than young husband.
In general the young wives and husbands have more acceptance to unpaid employment than older wives and husbands.
