I have written my motivation letter in accordance with below statement,

Your personal motivation letter should explain why your academic performance and reasons for applying to XXX University make you an appropriate recipient for a XXXX Scholarship.

I am very glad to hear about this scholarship opportunity and with this letter I would like to express my intense interest to study Information Systems in XXX University. I have completed my bachelor degree in Computer Science (BSc), Faculty of Science in Kabul University. During my studies, achieving high marks and topping in class turned out to be a routine for me and consequently I completed it with obtaining 3.6 GPA out of 4 with having the highest score in the 4 years period. Furthermore, I was leading most assignments in class and I have leaded more than 8 students during my studies in several class projects starting from normalizing simple hospital registration database structure to developing optical mark recognition software (object detection). In addition, I have more than 6 years of experience working with International and National organizations in the field of software and database development.

Due to my financial situation I am not able to continue my studies to achieve mine and my parent’s ambition. In addition, my country does not provide master courses in the field of computer. Therefore, I would be very grateful to be provided with scholarship to improve my education and move forward toward my future goals. And one of my goal is to take part in Afghanistan development where I plan to conduct trainings, seminars, workshops and transfer knowledge and skills gained from this course to my afghan citizens who are waiting to be given a spark and then enable them to work for the development of my country. Furthermore, I intend to establish national IT institute which would remove the gap between theory and practice and allow both national and international students and researchers to continue their research and bring pool of strategic experts together that will not only contribute to the development of my country, but will also help them reach their dream jobs.

Since I have strong academic and professional background in computing and software management, I believe that master course in Information Systems perfectly suits my profile and future career. I believe that this course is very interesting, because it will provide me with the information and communication technologies that can be used to achieve strategic goals. Furthermore, it will help to design and develop modern information systems that are mobile and flexible to the goals and needs of organizations.

XXX University, known as one of the best universities not only in Sweden, but also in the world, provides broad spectrum of advance studies especially in field of Information Systems more focused on practical and future prospects. It is also known for its international education system. This allows to study in an international environment, meet people from different societies each representing their own country and it gives the ability to exchange experience and ideas between students. This on one hand, provides cultural exchange and on the other hand, gives an insight about IT companies world-wide which remain competitive in today's global marketplace.

I perceive this scholarship as an extraordinary opportunity to interact with students and scholars from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds coming from all over the world. This type of networking is very important for integration of different ideas and perspectives pertaining to diverse global issues.

At the end, I believe this scholarship program, would not only empower and build my career, but would give me a framework to utilize my full potentials. Moreover, as a master student, I am confident and able to do well in this program, and I also believe that I can make significant contribution to this program.
