climate change

Post by faisalking »

Climate change is now an accepted threat to our planet, but there is not enough political action to control excessive consumerism and pollution. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Undoubtedly, climate change has been identified as an inevitable threat to our planet. I tend to agree that politicians are not considering effective measures to solve this likelihood problem. However, I also believe that it is a mutual responsibility of government and citizens of any country.

Climate change, even though, is a slow process. However, sooner or later it could be a serious threat to the future generation. Climate change is largely caused by the human daily life activities and their use of carbon releasing products normally called as global warming such as air pollution and consumerism. The number of cars on the roads is increasing and unfortunately in many developing countries there is no prohibition on using defective vehicles. Similarly, the number of factories in many countries that are causing large amount of carbon to the atmosphere has increased. However, the production of these factories has become important part of human’s lives and it is difficult to halt these factories.

In my opinion, government need to suggest better alternatives to control over this rising threat of climate change. For instance, by providing better public transport and by financially punishing those who are deliberately producing carbon to the atmosphere through unroadworthy cars or by other means. On the other, people who are avoiding use of carbon producing materials should be financially rewarded.

To conclude, I believe, politicians have to recognize their role and responsibilities to impose laws over their people regarding climate change and people have to be loyal and honest to obey the laws in order to control over global warming.

It is not uncommon for employees, especially those in sales or managerial potions, to be sent out on a business trip these days. Being away from their family members could have a significant impact on their families and this should not be over looked by employees and their employers.
