Some people think that mothers should spend most of their time raising family, and therefore the government should support them financially. Do you agree or disagree? Give your opinion and examples based on your own experience.
If I want to agree with this question,
should I write a paragraph on why mothers should spend most of their time raising family
and another another paragraph on if government should subsidize them?
how am I supposed to interpret this question?

Hi Claire,
To my understanding, this would be an Argument type essay where you would just be stating your opinion and describing why you agree with it or disagree. Also, while explaining, you either should agree completely or disagree completely. Partly mentioning both the Pros and Cons would leave the reader confused and I guess that would go off the essay format. Correct me if I'm wrong. This is what I could gather after having watched Ryan's few writing videos.
