According to the technological revolution, so many activities have been overtaken by machines today. Translation also has no exception and machine translation is becoming more popular among people. Many people suggests that machine translation will take over this role of human while others prone to opposite this view point.
Translation needs higher quality and accuracy in order to be legally acceptable document. Human translations can be prone to errors and misrepresentation depending on the situation. In such case, machine translation can be relied upon as output seems to be faster and reliable with higher quality and accuracy. As long as accurate programming and the load of vocabulary are in excellent quality, machine translation can be widely accepted and rely on. Moreover, machine translation can be provided without any physical appearance and therefore, will be no any bias to the translated document.
As a result, there is a possibility of dependance on machine translation rather than work done by humans. Technological development provides the technical facilities without a doubt in order to bring the quality up to near perfection. Fast service and easy access will bring more benefits other than human translation. Despite the lack of accuracy of vocal translation, because of emotional feelings and facial postures are unable to identified by a machine, all other translation activities can be highly accepted which is done by a machine.
To sum up, although the function of translation can be provided by both human and machines, many people tend to rely on machine translation due to the fast service and fare more accuracy. In such a situation, the likelihood of machine over taking the translation tasks will not be too far.
