Question: Television has a negative effect on personality development among young people. Do you agree or disagree?
In my response hear | Have chosen to disagree unlike my first essay when I supported the argument.

Television has been commonly watched during the last few decades all over the world. Children worldwide watch television, as it became available even in the developing poor countries. It is disagreed that television watching has a negative effect on personality development among young people. This will be proven by analyzing how television watching can improve child’s vocabulary as well as enrich his/her social and family interaction.
Firstly, watching television by young children will expose them to a tremendous number of words with live examples of how and when to use it in a proper sentence. For example, when a baby is watching television he will hear new words every day. Thus, his her vocabulary will be increasing day by day and this will positively affect his/her personality development.
Secondly, watching television with the family members has a great impact on the social and family interaction. For example, when the children gather with their parents to watch a television show, they will have fun and happy time together which will improve their personality development.
In summary, by analyzing how child’s vocabulary will improve by watching television as well as enriching social and family interaction which will have a positive influence on children personality development. Therefore, it is refuted that television has a negative effect on personality development among young people. Thus it is recommended to have an allocated specific time for television watching for children and young adults. However, it is more beneficial if it is done as a family social gathering.
