I am gonna apply as a skilled worker soon. thought it would be good to get in touch with people who have recently applied for australian visa or who are in the process of migrating to aust

i have more than 5 years of work ex and currently staying in england.

I am also trying to get for Australia.

I am from India.. IELTS on 28th Feb.. Australia Engineer..

I'm planning too. I have to get s8 L8 R7 W7 for the skill assessment.
Attempted once in Australia and got s7.5 l9 r8.5 w6.5.
Second attempt in Sri Lanka s7 l8.5 r 7.5 w7.5
Third attempt in Sri Lanka s7 l8.5 r8 w7

I'm really frustrated how to get 8 in speaking..

i thought more than 7 is enough ? did they specifically ask you for 8 in speaking?

Congratulations on your Ielts result. I also got an overall band of 8.5 at my first attempt.

Can you please shed more light on the Australia PR visa application? Where do one do the application? Requirements and whether to use an agent or not?

Do you have any thoughts why you are not passing for speaking?

HI Tatty .Can u please tell are you accounting student or engineering or nursing.Why u need 8 in speaking in ielts to get skill assessment.I dont think so if you clarify you query I can share my knowledge to you.I am trying to get each 7 for my PR it enough for accounting student like me.

I have also planned to go Australia. I have 7 Years of experience.

If you know what you are doing, you don't need an agent to help you.
