EVERYBODY SHOULD BE ALLOWED ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITY STUDY PROGRAMS REGARDLESS OF THEIR LEVEL OF ACADEMIC ABILITY.
It is commonly believed that an effective educational system should be open for all students who ask to take part in. An argument who supports this thesis is that a country who does not provide restrictions in its universities is more well-read. In contrast, other people could argue that a wide number of graduates is not useful for community, moreover a lot of people who gained a degree are still unemployed.
In most cases, universities provide some restrictions for students who ask to be admitted in a study program. From one hand they rightly require a bachelor degree for students who want to attend a master’s programs, from another hand someone believes that is not fundamental to limit the access to the bachelor’s courses. In this regard, some universities want that the applicant students take part in a selective procedure. People who do not support restrictions in university system think that personal commitment is more valuable than academic skills. Accordingly, they think that professors should evaluate more the personal interests than academic or intellectual abilities. From another point view, this debate could have effects on the society. While a society in which is easier to obtain a degree it is more learned, a country who makes available university only for fewer people is less cultured. In contrast, if less people are graduated, they will have more chances to find a job related to their university programs.
To conclude, there are convincing arguments for supporting both point of views. However, we should focus on other issues. For instance, Universities , local and national governments should offer a lot of scholarships in order to make available programs also for underprivileged students.
