The chart illustrates the percentage of oil resources contribution and consumption in ten different continents in a year.
Based on the chart, Middle East is the largest oil exporter, which contributes 56.52%. This is followed by Canada, where its oil resources accounts for 14.84%. Despite having a relatively huge number of its oil resources, Middle East and Canada only consume approximately 6.15% and 2.48% of oil respectively in a year.
On the other hand, Asia, United States and Western Europe appear to be the top three oil consumption continents. The similarity of these three areas is that the demand of oil outweighs the supply by 20 times. However, there is also areas that share equivalent of its oil resources against consumption. For instance, Central and South American and Eastern Europe have an average of 7% of demand and supply respectively.
Overall, Middle East has the most oil resources, while Asia, United States and Western Europe have the highest level of oil imported.
