As the number of private cars has increased, so too has the level of pollution in many cities. What can be done to tackle this increasingly common problem?
Write at least 250 words.

Air pollution in many big cities is a worldwide challenge. Governments and non-governmental organizations have taken measures to remove the problem, endangering theirs citizens’ health.

There are many ways that are recommended to tackle this ubiquitous problem. I will address several of the solution in the following.

Some believe that governments should invest more on urban public transportation including underground lines and public buses. By developing theses infrastructure, people no longer need to use their private vehicles and trust on public vehicles to arrive on time to work. Thus, the amount of gas emission would reduce.

Increasing tax on private cars would be another solution. In My country, many people have several cars in their parking lots without concerning about paying tax. Poor tax system has made my country a heaven for a rich man to drive different models of cars. Tax increase enforces them to have one car and also use public transportation.

Moreover, high gas price is another way. People prefer to go work by public transportation rather than spending a lot of money on gas. Cars can be used for going to picnic and have memorial times with family and friends at the weekends.

I personally believe that all these factors are required to develop evenly to tackle air contamination. Without taking comprehensive practical and cultural policies, air pollution remains a worldwide problem. As a global concern, states should come to consensus and cooperate to reduce gas emission to save our planet.

All in All, air pollution is too worrying and extended that demand international cooperation, if people on earth like to live longer and save human being.
