It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. However, it’s sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.

Since the beginning of recorded time, talent is essential for the individual success. This can be seen nowhere clearer than in the field of music and sports. On the one hand, many people believe that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. On the other hand, it’s claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician. All arguments will be weighed prior to reaching an informed conclusion.
It is felt by many that some people are born with some aptitude while others are not. For instance, in sports, particularly cricket, Virat Kohli, the greatest batsman of the Indian cricket team is now in the peak of his career because of God gifted talent. Once, he was received the "Man of the Match" award from the famous player of an Indian cricket team in the age of 12 years. After 10 years, the same famous was also playing cricket under the captaincy of Kohli in the IPL. This example shows clearly that individual born with some extraordinary ability can achieve more success than ordinary one. It is easy to see with above example why this argument has garnered a lot of support.

However, this is refuted by others and they believe that excellence can be achieved by anyone through the training. “Practice makes perfect” is an old adage. For illustration, Imran Khan, the ex-cricketer, started his career as a spin bowler. After failing several times, he was trained by coaches and he became an excellent bowler. Later he won the World-Cup. It goes without saying that talent can be taught to anyone. Thus, this argument is also difficult to refute.

After analyzing these two points of views, it is felt that both sides have strong arguments in favor of their claims. However it is safe to conclude that human with "born" talent as well as a normal person needs hard work to achieve the success in any field.
