There is a widely held belief that migrants mostly from developing countries immigrate to the developed countries in order to work there. There is a notion that working in a foreign country is a good idea for making a fortune and there is number of advantages although it easy to come across some disadvantages too.
Admittedly, working in a foreign country has some disadvantages that are in a poor view, as the proverb proves, the grass is always greener on the other side of the hill. First of all, if someone works overseas they might miss out some privileges that government provides to the citizen employees. For instance, pension fund and some social services provided by local trade unions. Secondly, different countries have different educational systems, consequently, most countries do not recognize foreign qualification as it does not match up with their national curriculum. In other words, retraining courses are usually inevitable.
