Hi guys,
This is my first practice, please criticize give me advise where I could improve...
the bar graph was taken from http://www.ielts-exam.net/academic_writ ... ask_1/874/
So basically I clocked my timer for 20 mins, looked at the graph and finished in around 18 mins. Never looked at the model answer in the bottom, before writing it myself.
Here I begin...
The graph shows students of different gender who were successful at competency exams by subject, in the period from 2010 to 2011.
In most subjects such as physics, history, foreign languages and mathematics both genders were almost equally successful by girls being 1-3% ahead of boys.
However, in a subject of chemistry females proved to be well ahead by reaching 16% higher success rates than males. While geography subject is the complete opposite in results to chemistry by boys being 10% ahead of girls. In subject of computer science girls taking the lead again by outperforming boys by 14%.
In conclusion, girls performed better in most subjects than boys.
P.S. topic was written as to attract more views
