Hi everyone,

My name is Mark. I will be sitting the IELTS academic test on the 15th March in order to have my accountancy qualification (ACCA) assessed by an Australian accountancy body (CPA) for immigration purposes. I hope to use this site to achieve the highest score I can and from my initial look, it looks like it certainly will!

Thanks,

Mark.

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the forum. What band do you need to achieve to have your qualifications assessed?

As a base level I need sevens in all disciplines but I would like to get an 8 in all as I gain extra points for the immigration application.

I see. Did I catch you say in another thread that you are a native English user? If this is the case, you may be interested to listen to a chat I had with Nancy, an IELTS taker from the UK. She also took the exam to apply points to her application for immigration.
