Hi, I would like to ask everyone who knows what's the difference between "Road to IELTS" (course offered by British Council) and real IELTS exam in terms of difficulty level ? I've been preparing for IELTS for 3 months, most of time I spent on studying general English in order to improve my skills, but also I've practiced with Cambridge IELTS (1-8). I started at level of 18/40 points in listening section and ended up at 34-36/40 so I thought it seems nice. Now, 13 days left to my exam and I tried "Road to IELTS - last minute" which I found much more difficult (even though the quality of recording is better there) than Cambridge IELTS practice tests books :( Does anyone know, if the real IELTS resembles Cambridge books or it's rather like Road to IELTS course ? I will appreciate any help... cheers
