how to improve ietls academic reading

i always have score of 6.5 in reading and i wonder how i can improve it. i have been going through all the tutorials on the internet but it seems not work for me somehow.
i got tricked all the time by the questions. anyone gives me advice? how can you get band 8 in reading?
