Dear all..

I am appearing for IELTS on 23rd July and aiming for band 7. Can you please review the letter GT task 1 and provide your feedback.

A good Friend has just changed schools abd is having difficulty fititng in and needs your advice.

write a letter to your friend. In your letter
. make suggestions as to how they could make friends
. sugegst joining clubs, participating in school activities
. Give extra general advice.

Dear Harshada,

Hope you find this letter in good health. I have been pondering over your predicament of making friends in the new school. I have few suggestions which would help you acclimatise yourself with new school and assist in making a few friends.

Firstly, you need to get to know other students from your class better, hence you need to have more interactions with them outside class. I suggest joining Vedic Mathematics club at the school, as you have extensive knowledge in that subject , exhibiting the knowledge will help to break ice with fellow schoolmates. Also you can join a drama group, it will help you in identifying student with common interests.

As such in any new surroundings, it always takes time to befriend people and hence you need display some patience and honestly work on it. I am sure, the way you were a toast of every gathering here in Bangalore, you will find your feet in the new school as well.

Take care.

Love you,
Sandip
