Please evaluate my Task 2 writing. All comments are welcome. Thank you.
Some people feel schools should be responsible for providing lunch to primary and secondary students. Others think parents should send their children to school with box lunches made at home. Analyse both positions.
Most primary and secondary schools do not let students leave their schools to have lunch on their own. Yet, students' diets are always the concern for student themselves, parents, educators and even the general public. Some think schools should be in charge of providing lunch to students, whereas others believe that parents should prepare home-made lunch boxes and let their children bring them back to school for lunch. Both of these views will be analysed before drawing a reasoned conclusion.
Many people advocate that schools should arrange lunch meals for children, especially when students spend their whole day at schools and are not allowed to go anywhere outside of campus. In fact, this is exactly what a lot of schools are doing. These schools arrange catering companies to provide students with hot meals at school canteens. This service offers an excellent solution to working parents because they do not have the time to prepare meals ahead for their children or to take their out from school to have lunch. It is thus not difficult to see why many hold the opinion that schools should take on the responsibility to provide lunch to students.
On the other hand, a lot of people believe that parents should have lunch boxes ready before hand and let their children take them to school for lunch. Students who do that generally warm their lunch boxes with microwave ovens at school canteens. These home-made lunch boxes are generally packed with a variety of nutritious food and particularly tailored to fit a student's palate. Because of that, students are more likely than not to completely finish their lunch boxes than to waste any bits. Thus, it is very understandable why some people believe that parents should be the ones who are in charge of students' lunches.
After considering both views, it is clear that home-made lunch boxes are a better option for students' health. Therefore, it is hoped that parents around the world are able to squeeze out some time prepare lunch boxes for their children.
