Scientific research should be carried out and controlled by government owner companies rather than private owner companies.

Scientific research is one of the most important contributing factors in the economy of any country. It has to be nurtured and developed properly. Hence, it is advisable that government owned companies should control it.

There are many advantages of this.First is the 'motive'.The motive of a government is to raise the standard of living of the people and ensure their well being.Contrarily, a private company first thinks about its own profit.Second, the government agencies are bound by laws and have to operate within their limits while the private companies are usually seen to exploit the law to get the desired result.Third, the government can fund the research and can collect donations,which is not possible for private companies. What is more, help of governments of other countries can also be asked for, from the international level to hasten the process of research.

On the other hand, for private companies the research process is fast because they work under the pressure to perform better. Next, the working environment is more professional, competitive and free from political influence. Hence the output can be efficient and result oriented. This is unlike the government companies where the job security is very high at times and that retards the growth as employees take their positions for granted.

To sum up, it is true that private companies offer better and efficient operative conditions. However, considering the chances of exploitation of the law by private firms. I assert that scientific research should be carried out and controlled by the government owned companies only.
