You are travelling next month to stay with a host family you do not know as part of a student exchange program.

Write a letter to the family to introduce yourself. In your letter,
- say when and how you will be arriving
- tell the family a little about yourself
- ask about the weather to pack suitable clothes

The written letter is as below , would request you to please verify and comment if any error is identified :

Dear Tom,
Please allow me to introduce myself , I am Sonika Phaugat , a year 11 student from Indra Gandhi University , who has been granted the opportunity to travel to Germany as part of my university’s student exchange program .
I write to you in-order to inform , that I shall be arriving on the 22nd of October 2015 via Indian Airlines flight no. AI235 in the evening .
I am a happy go lucky person who loves to make new friends & visit new places , so am extremely excited about meeting you and your family .
As I would be travelling during the month of October , Can you please guide me about the kind of clothes that I should be packing ? I intend to stay for 3 months .
