Hello,
I am originally from the U.K. and English is my first language. I am an Australian trained registered nurse which is were my problem lies. For me to return home and register with the UK nurses board I must have 7's on the Ielts.
After months of planning to relocate my family and sit the test, it all went to bits this afternoon when I received my results. Overall I suppose it's not the worst marks but still gut wrenching to know I didn't get what I need to gain an income and register with the nurses board.
I got an 8.5 in speaking, 8 in listening, 7 in reading and a 6 in writing!! After the test my intuition told me that I may not have made the word count. Can someone please give me some advice as to how I can make 250 words or a quick way of knowing on test day if I have made the count!?! I find the time frame is my down fall
