Hello,
I'll really appreciate if someone can evaluate my Academic Writing Task 1. Thanks.

The figure illustrates the life cycle process of the fish Salmon. As the name of the process suggests, this process is cyclic in nature and each stage presented depends upon its previous stage.

Starting with the very first stage, the location where the Adult Salmon chooses to lay eggs is the Upper River which has slow moving waters. They lay eggs scattered beneath small stones and reeds. These laid eggs remain in this location for about 5 to 6 months until they hatch and ‘Fry’ are born. The Fry which has a size of around 3 to 8 centimeters then moves and locates to a Lower River that has fast flowing waters and gain experience of swimming in a completely different environment. They stay in Lower River for about 4 years approximately and then in this period they age and become the ‘Smolt’. The Smolt is as big as 12 to 15 centimeters which moves into the Open sea and stay there for approximately 5 years to become the ‘Adult Salmon’.

In the final stage, the Adult Salmon which is 70 to 76 centimeters long relocates to Upper River to lay eggs and its life cycle process starts all over again.
