Question : Improvements in health, education and trade are essential for the development of poorer nations. However, the governments of richer nations should take responsibility for poorer nations in such areas. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
Answer :
Improvements in important sectors like health, education and trade are instrumental in the development of poorer nations. These sectors form the cornerstones in economical developments. Having said that, since poorer nations may not have adequate resources or even funds to bring about change in these fields, the richer nations can step into the picture and take responsibility to help the less privilidged nations.
Firstly, global development happens when the poorer nations progress. And for the growth of these less priviledged nations, sectors like health, education and trade should be worked upon. Providing resources and funding and improving architecture of each of these sections will help developing countries move towards a better living. For example, inhabitants of a country will be able to think about betterment of the society if they are healthy themselves. Also, education helps to provide a path or channel in which society can be benefitted by making better qualified, capable individuals. Developed countries can trade labour for money from developing nations. This will not only help money to flow from rich to poor nations but also help improve standard of living for residents of developing countries.
Secondly, relations will be better developed if rich countries help poor nations progress. International tensions because of various conflicts will ease and countries will co-exist in harmony with each other. This in turn will strengthen the trade relations and more of cultural exchange will take place. Consequently, more productive developments can take place involving all the countries for making the world a still better placeto live in. For instance,
world wars can beprevented if relationsbetween ountries grow better.
Thus to conclude, rich nations morally should help poor nations look into various sections to pull them towards achieving a better status.
