Topic T1:

A local college wants employed people to talk to the student about their work. You want to do it. Write a letter to the principal saying:
* What are you going to talk about
* Why do you think students will be interested in your topic
* Suggest a possible date and time for the talk.

Topic T2:

Nowadays, more and more people are having consumer goods like refrigerators and washing machines.

Does this development bring more advantages than disadvantages?

I wrote an argument in task2 as question was more advantages or more disadvantages.

is it correct

I myself followed the argument style. However, in the first paragraph I started as,

"Granted that the increased number of household appliances demands more electricity generation on a national level hence, posing threat to environmental pollution and global warming as many of our power plants are still fueled by oil or coal. However, it is still retained that its merits outweigh its demerits"

and then I mentioned one advantage in the same paragraph and another advantage in another paragraph.
Besides, I also stated my opinion in the introduction paragraph which is as per the argument style of writing an essay.

I hope its Okay.

i got the feeling that it may serves as the conclusion paragraph.
However, in my opinion you used a very good vocabularies.
