In many countries, people are moving away from rural areas and towards urban areas.
Why do you think that is?
What problems can this cause?
****************************

In today’s global world, everyone would like to have a high stature and maintain a good standard of living. They would like to follow their dreams. In order to chase this, there are many people who are migrating from rural to urban areas due to lack of opportunities.

There are various challenges which one sees through in rural areas. First and the foremost, there is a lack of basic amenities in rural areas like water shortage, no electricity, no proper infrastructure. People don’t have much of the opportunities for their earning. With the limited earning, they have to raise their children by giving good education and beat the inflation. For e.g., a farmer rely on rains so that the crops grows well and he can earn good money. However, this has become more volatile nowadays due to deficiency of rainfall in many areas. .Recently, lot of farmers has committed suicide as they couldn’t earn and repay their debts.

Another reason is, it becomes very difficult to study as they have to travel far off as they lack resources like unavailability of teachers, no playgrounds for them to play, no rest rooms which leads to sanitation issues. Even if someone requires a medical attention then they have to go to the nearest town. Government attention towards rural development should be focused more than what it is today. Due to lack of infrastructure, people are finding it very difficult to keep themselves update with current affairs or technology happening across the globe.

To conclude, I believe everyone wanted to have a global exposure and to nurture their talent effectively. However, migration will not only help them but also gives them platform to compete and showcase their talent to make their livelihood more sustainable.

Hello!

This is a very good essay with a good range of vocabulary and grammatical structures, usually used correctly. Meaning is clear despite mistakes.

I think that you could have made more of the point about moving to cities for opportunities.

Well done!
