General Test / Writing 2 / Taxes vs births

Post by Emre_Akdeniz »

Some Governments say how many children a family can have in their country should be strictly controlled. They may control the number of children someone has through taxes. It is sometimes necessary and right for a government to control the population in this way?

Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer.

You should write at least 250 words.

In this civil age of the world, people are living dependently on governmental programs which involve the population balance. There is no doubt that it causes certain annoying between citizens and states unpleasantly because of the authorities of the lands claim to control quantity of the children in excess in families. This will be discussed by taking into account some facts/factors and evidences given below.
It is obvious that the nations have to protect their internal/external poises, related to economical basement. For instance, in the case of any country, which has higher amount of citizens then it should be, might not obtain the comfortable conditions for residents. Consequently, some tax arrangements could be made up deterrently. In addition, having many children of low-income families might induce difficult life conditions and unhealthy community. Furthermore, inadequate education standards and relevantly increasing offensive attitudes could stand out. In this respect, it is not just to deny overlooking the government`s suggestions.
For example, in the recent years, China took steps seriously about decreasing the population. It is stipulated to have only one child per family. They did not even offer any extra tax or fine application, however it has been averted 400 million births. Whereas when India tried to prevent the increasing of population, that is why they did not force their people for taxes or fine punishments, the count of people is going on congestion considerably. Actually another point of view is that, it should be considered Indian or any equal low-earning country people are not suitable to pay tax, because of the utmost percentage of the residents are very pool people. Hence, penalizing and familiar strict methods might not be resulted, as it was hoped.
In my point of view, it is needed to increase the education trend enormously. It should be embraced by governments to teach the drawbacks of having high population reflects to the public. So it should be obtained that the people to consider and care.
After all these analysis, it seems to me that instead of formidable way, it ought to be chosen the sensible route by states. Additionaly, in the case of persistence of the families to have child, governments may convince and persuade the parents to adoption of orphans. According to me this is the most humanistic way to be followed.

Hello!

To be honest, I have great trouble understanding some points, e.g. Furthermore, inadequate education standards and relevantly increasing offensive attitudes could stand out.

Often, problems with vocabulary and grammar mean that the essay is unclear. However, one good point is clearly made - that poor people often don't pay tax, so taxing them is pointless.

Al the best,
David
