Hi
My name is Majid . I'm 22 and posting from Iran.

Last month I took a mock IELTS exam and i was graded 6 in all the modules . But unfortunately I need at least a score band of 7 on each section .

My exam will be in 2 months and I hope it would be suffiecent to obtain my desired score . Since I'm studying I cannot allocate my time fully to the IELTS preparation.

I found this website amazingly useful and I like to thank Ryan sincerely for his great work .

I wish we share some writing and speaking material and practicing in the future

kind regards
Majid

For listening :
I just listen occasionally to some podcast and some Cambridge listening files on my Ipod . if I get a chance I take a similar test in real conditions from Cambridge and plus and some other sources . I have also heard transcribing is absolutely useful but I don't know how exactly to do that and have not tried it yet .

For writing : I'm planning on reading ielts-simon.com and ieltsielts.com and also reading a book titled "improve your ielts writing skills" bye McCarter . after finishing those, i wanna write some essays and give it to some expert to correct my mistakes and guide me to a higher level of writing .

For reading : just practicing in real exam conditions . taking Cambridge and plus book tests and try to do it in the real time frame. i have trouble sticking into the time .

for speaking : there's a book published in my country that have assembled a wide variety of frequent topics used in the past exams and some possible topics . i wanna read that in order to boost my ideas and then hire a tutor for some sessions before the exam to talk to or maybe just talking to myself and recording my voice .

if you have any suggestion please do not hesitate to make ... tnx alot .

For writing you can also practise writing by hand (not computer) to make sure you can write clearly and fast, like is best for the exam.
